Scary Out There

Welcome to my place on the web. I’m glad that you’re here and I hope that you will find this blog helpful even if it’s to kill some time.

I created this blog for a class project that I want to grow into something more than just that. My hope is that this blog will be able to help or assist at least someone in preparing themselves to find employment. The phrase “it’s scary out there” is a common one used to describe the job market and the difficulty one can encounter in being placed at the right company with the right job. I won’t pretend to be an authority on the subject of finding a job but I won’t shy away from including my personal experiences with the topic. I believe I have a unique opportunity that differentiates me from the rest of the pack. I’m not saying I won’t include the usual top ten but I want to be real and I want to be honest with the readers (once I have some, of course).

So who am I? Well, I’m a college student. A typical one at that. I’m about to graduate and go off into the world with a pile of debt and no clue where I’m going. I have an idea of where I’d like to go but will I make it and if so, how? I know I’m curious to find these questions out and I know a lot of people out there who share the same feeling. I want to be able to share all of my successes and failures with you.

I have no doubt I will learn a lot as I go and I hope if you follow me along my journey you might learn a thing or two as well.
